2021 AB Junior Championships
The 2021 AB Junior Championships had two parts. The first was the Closed Championship and it took place on the weekend of November 6-7. It consisted of a 6 player Round-Robin featuring some of the strongest juniors in Alberta. Those included: Paris Dorn, Mark Ivanescu, Anand Rishi Chandra, Hemant Srinivasan, Maxim Vasic and Jinghui Bai. Paris Dorn from Edmonton emerged as the winner with 4/5 and earned ACA sponsored funding for a trip to Canadian Junior in 2022. The second portion was Open and under 1300 sections which this year took place online on December 19th.
