Tournament format: 5-round Open Swiss. CFC & FIDE rated.
CFC membership is required and may be purchased on-site. Annual membership is $43 for adults and $28 for juniors.
CFC tournament membership is $20 for adults and $10 for juniors.
Time Control: Game in 90 minutes + 30 seconds/move. A 30-minute break between games is guaranteed. The default late time is 60 minutes.
Round Times
Saturday: 10 a.m., 2 p.m., 6 p.m.
Sunday: 10 a.m., 2 p.m. or ASAP
Entry fee: $50 if pre-registered by 11:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 16. $60 after.
$15 discount for juniors (2003 birthdate or later), seniors (age 65 and over), and female players. GM/IM/FM title holders receive free entry.
Registration: Fill out the registration form below. Payment should be made by e-transfer to the TD (e-transfer – bhavik_ec@yahoo.co.in) or on-site by cash. On-site Registration runs 9:15 – 9:45 a.m. on Saturday, March 18.
Pre-registered players must arrive by 9:45 a.m. or they won’t be paired.
Prizes: Sum of entry fees minus ACA dues of $10 per player
Byes: A maximum of two half-point byes is available in rounds 1-4 if requested before the start of round 1.
