Tournament Directors: <\/strong>GM Dimitri Komarov<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Start time:<\/strong> 11:00 a.m. Players must arrive and check in between 10:15 – 10:45 a.m. or they may not be paired in round one.
Format: <\/strong>By school grade (1-12). The exact format of each section will depend on the number of participants but players are guaranteed a minimum of 3 games. Chess \u2019N Math rated.
Time control:<\/strong> Game in 25 minutes with a 5-second delay for grades 3-12. Clocks may be added to grades 1 and 2 if necessary.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Entry fee: <\/strong>$20.
Registration:<\/strong> Fill out the form below. Payment will be made on-site with cash. The deadline for registration is Friday, March 8, 2024 @ 8:00 PM. Space is limited to 52 players.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Prizes:<\/strong> Section winners receive free entry to the Alberta Chess Challenge in Red Deer on April 6th. Medals will be awarded to top finishers in each grade.<\/p>\n\n\n
