Open format: <\/strong>5-round Swiss, CFC rated
Time control:<\/strong> Game in 90 minutes + 30 seconds\/move<\/p>\n\n\n\n

U1300 format:<\/strong> 7-round Swiss, CFC rated
Time control:<\/strong> Game in 45 minutes + 30 seconds\/move

Entry fee: <\/strong>$30 if pre-registered online by noon, Friday, September 15. $40 otherwise. ACA junior membership required ($1\/year). CFC members do not need to pay an additional ACA membership fee. CFC membership is not required.

How to register: <\/strong>
Fill out the registration form below. Payment will be made on site by cash.
Pre-registered players must arrive by 9:45 a.m. or confirm that they are coming by calling 780-424-0283 on the morning of round 1, or they will not be paired.

Approximate Schedule of the Open section
<\/strong>Saturday:
On-site registration: 9:00 a.m. \u2013 9:45 a.m. 
Opening ceremony: 9:55 a.m.
Rounds 1-3: 10:00 a.m., 2:00 p.m., 6:00 p.m.
Sunday: 
Rounds 4 and 5: 10:00 a.m., 2:00 p.m.

Prizes in the U1300 section: <\/strong>
1st place: <\/strong>Free entry to AB Junior Championship corresponding section + Trophy
2nd and 3rd place: <\/strong>Trophies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
