Open format: 5-round Swiss, CFC rated
Time control: Game in 90 minutes + 30 seconds/move
U1300 format: 7-round Swiss, CFC rated
Time control: Game in 45 minutes + 30 seconds/move
Entry fee: $30 if pre-registered online by 11:00 p.m. Thursday, September 11. $40 otherwise.

Pre-registered players must arrive by 9:45 a.m. on the morning of round 1, or they will not be paired.

Saturday:
On-site registration: 9:00 a.m. – 9:45 a.m.
Opening ceremony: 9:55 a.m.
Rounds 1-3: 10:00 a.m., 2:00 p.m., 6:00 p.m.
Sunday:
Rounds 4 and 5: 10:00 a.m., 2:00 p.m.

1st place: Guaranteed spot in the AB Junior Championship (for Northern players) + Trophy
2nd place: Free entry to the AB Junior Open Tournament + Trophy
3rd place: Trophy
Prizes in the U1300 section:
1st place: Free entry to the AB Junior Championship corresponding section + Trophy
2nd and 3rd place: Trophies.
All other participants will receive ribbons.
