Format: 5-round Open Swiss. CFC & FIDE rated.
Time Control: Game in 90 minutes + 30 seconds/move. A 30-minute break between games is guaranteed. The default late time is 60 minutes.
Round Times
Saturday: 10:00 a.m., 2:00 p.m., 6:00 p.m.
Sunday: 10:00 a.m., 2:00 p.m. or ASAP
Entry fee: $50 if pre-registered by 11:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 18. $60 after.
$15 discount for juniors (2004 birthdate or later), seniors (age 65 and over), and female players. GM/IM/FM title holders receive free entry.
CFC membership is required and may be purchased on-site. Annual membership is $43 for adults and $28 for juniors. CFC tournament membership is $20 for adults and $10 for juniors.
Registration: Fill out the registration form below. Payment will be made on-site by cash. On-site registration and check-in runs 9:15 – 9:45 a.m. on Saturday, April 20. Players must arrive by 9:45 a.m. or they won’t be paired.
Prizes: Sum of entry fees minus ACA dues of $10 per player.
Byes: A maximum of two half-point byes is available in rounds 1-4 if requested before the start of round 1.
