Time Control: 90 minutes for the first 40 moves followed by 30 minutes for the rest of the game with an increment of 30 seconds per move starting from move one.

Prizes: $300 for first place, $200 for second, and $100 for third. The Champion will receive a travel grant of up to $1,000 to represent Alberta at the next Canadian Closed Championship (subject to AGLC approval).
