Time Control:\u00a0<\/strong>90 minutes for the first 40 moves followed by 30 minutes for the rest of the game with an increment of 30 seconds per move starting from move one.

Prizes:<\/strong>\u00a0$300* for first place, $200* for second, and $100* for third. The Champion will receive a travel grant of up to $1,000 to represent Alberta at the 2023 Canadian Closed Championship (subject to AGLC approval).\u00a0The Champion may instead use the travel grant for the 2023 Canadian Open in Calgary, if applicable.
