CFC membership is required and may be purchased on site. Annual membership is $43 for adults, $28 for juniors. 
CFC single-tournament membership is $21 for adults, $11 for juniors. Alberta residents only please.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Time Control:<\/strong> Game in 90 minutes + 30 seconds\/move. Two 1\/2 point byes are available in rounds 1-4 if requested before the start of round 1.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Approximate Schedule
<\/strong>Saturday, May 12 
On-site registration: 9:15 am – 9:45 am
Rounds 1-3: 10 am, 2 pm, 6 pm or ASAP
Sunday, May 13
Rounds 4-5: 10 am, 2 pm or ASAP
Default late time is 60 minutes. A 30-minute break between games is guaranteed. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Registration:<\/strong>\u00a0Fill out the form above. Payment will be made on site by cash.\u00a0 Pre-registered players must come by 9:45 am on Saturday, May 12, or they won’t be paired.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Entry Fee:<\/strong> $30 if registered online by noon, Friday, May 11. $35 afterwards and on site.
Free entry for WGM\/WIM\/WFM title holders.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Prizes:<\/strong> Sum of entry fees minus ACA dues of $5 per paid entry. 
The winner receives a travel grant of up to $1,000 towards a trip to the 2018\/2019 Canadian Women’s Championship. If no tournament is held, the winner may apply to the board to use the grant for another tournament (within one year.) <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Additional Prize: The top unrated junior and the top junior under 1200 will receive free entry to the Calgary All-Girls Chess Camp (August 20-22).<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
