FIDE rules will be used.
Time Control
40 moves in 90 minutes, then 30 minutes with a 30 second increment for each move from move 1.
Byes
Byes are not allowed. To remain in norm contention, players must play all 9 rounds. If a player must miss a round, a zero point bye will be awarded.
Recording of Moves
All players must keep a legible scoresheet for the duration of the game. Some players may be required to use DGT boards for live broadcast. All players who use DGT boards will still be required to record their games.

IM Norm Information
You will have to play against at least 4 different federations (a maximum of 5 from any one federation) and 7 rated players, 5 of whom must be titled players and either 2 GMs, 2 IMs and 1 GM or 3 IMs.
