9 Round Swiss, CFC/FIDE rated
CFC membership required, can be purchased at site. Must be paid prior to start of round 1

IM norms will be possible

Limit of 24 players
Minimum CFC/FIDE rating of 2200. All players must have a FIDE rating
Preference will be given to Alberta players. There will be a limited number of spots available to players outside of Alberta

Advanced registrations will be announced soon!

Time control: Game in 90 for first 40 moves, 30 minutes for the rest of game, 30 second increment added to each move starting from move 1

Schedule: May 14 7 p.m., May 15-17 11 a.m. & 7 p.m., May 18 10 a.m. & 6 p.m.

Prize Fund: Estimated $4,000 (minimum guaranteed $2,500)

Registration: $150 by April 30. $175 after April 30

Simul and lecture schedule will be announced soon. All lecture and simuls will cost $5 per event. $10 pass will get you into all lectures and simuls
