Open to Albertan juniors who born in 1990 or later (age 20 and under)
CFC & FIDE* rated
(*at least 3 FIDE-rated juniors required )
CFC Membership is required. It can be purchased on site
Format: 5 round swiss or round robin, depending on the number of entries
Time Control: Game in 90 + 30 second increment
Registration: Sign-in at the club 9:30-9:45 am

The Alberta Junior Champion earns the right to represent Alberta at the next Canadian Junior Chess Championship funded by the ACA
Top 3 boards each round broadcast live on the ACA website via DGT technology

Open to Albertan juniors who born in 1990 or later (age 20 and under)
with a CFC rating of 1700 or lower
CFC rated
CFC Membership is required. It can be purchased on site
Format: 5 round swiss or round robin, depending on the number of entries
Time Control: Game in 90 + 30 second increment
Registration: Sign-in at the club 9:30-9:45 am
