Sections: Open and Under 1400.
Tournament format:
5-round Swiss, CFC rated. The Open section will also be FIDE rated.
CFC membership is required and may be purchased on site. Annual membership is $43 for adults, $28 for juniors.
CFC tournament membership is $21 for adults, $11 for juniors.

Time Control: Game in 90 minutes + 30 seconds/move

Registration: Fill out the form above. Payment will be made on site by cash.
Pre-registered players must come by 9:45 am on Saturday, June 4, or they won't be paired for round 1.

Players are guaranteed 30 minutes between games.
Rounds will not start if games from previous round are still in progress.

Entry Fee: $30 if registered online by June 2, $35 afterwards and on site.

Prizes: 50% of entry fees will be returned as prizes, the rest will be used to fund the 9th Calgary International. First place finisher in the Open section will receive a free entry to the 2016 Calgary International. ACA tie-break rules will be used to determine the winner in case of a tie for the first place.

Estimated prizes are based on 15 players in the Open and 10 players in the Under 1400 section. Actual prizes may vary.
