FIDE rules will be used.
Pairings
The format will be a 9 round swiss in accordance with FIDE pairing rules.
Time Control
40 moves in 90 minutes, then game in 30 minutes with a 30 second increment for each move from move 1.
Byes
Byes are not allowed. To remain in norm contention, players must play all 9 rounds. If a player must miss a round, a zero point bye will be awarded.
Recording of Moves
All players must keep a legible scoresheet for the duration of the game.

*The regulations regarding mix of federations as in the boxes marked * are waived if the event is a Swiss System tournament in which the competitors include at least 20 FIDE Rated players, not from the host federation, from at least 3 federations, at least 10 of whom hold GM, IM, WGM or WIM titles.
